Business Development Representative

Proofpoint is seeking a Business Development Representative in Pittsburgh, PA to join their growing sales team. This hybrid role involves identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential customers in your assigned territory, contributing directly to the success of the sales organization. You will utilize CRM tools and social media campaigns, with opportunities to present your work to executives and participate in customer demo calls.

• Identify, engage, and qualify potential customers
• Collaborate with Field, Territory, and Enterprise Account Managers
• Utilize CRM tools like Salesforce.com and Outreach
• Opportunity to present work to executives and participate in demo calls
• No direct tech sales experience required, business development or inside sales experience is a plus
• Hybrid role with three days in the office
