Forward Deployed Engineer

Shelf is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to lead technical proof-of-value engagements with enterprise prospects, demonstrating the value of their AI readiness infrastructure. This role involves designing custom data models and configuring reasoning agents to solve complex data quality challenges for clients, working closely with sales and engineering teams.

• Lead independent proof-of-value engagements with enterprise prospects
• Design custom ontologies and configure solutions within 3-5 day cycles
• Conduct technical discovery and present solutions to various technical stakeholders
• Partner with Account Executives throughout sales cycles
• Write Python scripts and leverage AI coding tools for rapid solution building
• Work with data modeling, knowledge graphs, and semantic technologies
