Staff Technical Product Manager, Runtimes

Fastly is seeking a Staff Technical Product Manager to own the strategy and roadmap for their runtimes, including Compute and VCL. This role involves defining how code executes at the edge, scaling for demanding workloads, and adapting runtimes for the AI era. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in execution environments and a proven ability to drive product strategy and execution in ambiguous, fast-moving conditions.

• Own end-to-end runtime surface strategy and roadmap for Compute and VCL
• Scale Compute for demanding workloads and enhance platform primitives
• Expand runtime surface with new execution models
• Define runtime strategy for the AI era
• Take and defend strong positions on runtime direction
• Partner with engineering, go-to-market, and hybrid/on-prem teams
