Product Engineer

As a Product Engineer at SEL, you will be the voice of the customer, shaping product development for wildfire mitigation initiatives. You'll collaborate with diverse teams to advance grid resiliency and situational awareness through innovative solutions. This role involves translating complex customer needs into practical, effective product features and documentation.

• Serve as the primary customer contact for wildfire mitigation research partnerships
• Translate customer challenges and workflows into product features and documentation
• Collaborate with R&D engineers to define product requirements
• Develop expertise in data acquisition, storage, and visualization tools
• Perform product validation testing and assist with new product development
• Excellent technical presentation, training, and writing skills
