Director / Senior Director of New Product Planning, Physical Science

Lila Sciences is seeking a Director/Senior Director of New Product Planning for Physical Science to join their asset creation arm. This role will assess opportunities for differentiated assets and shape them into ventures, partnerships, or programs by evaluating scientific differentiation, commercial viability, and market trends. You will build market models, develop commercial theses, and shape deal structures to drive strategic growth.

• Source and evaluate new physical science opportunities
• Track materials science, chemistry, energy systems, and advanced manufacturing trends
• Build market sizing, end-market demand, and deal economic models
• Develop specifications and early commercial theses for assets
• Shape deal structures and partnership constructs
• Contribute to strategic thesis by synthesizing learnings
