Director, Software Technical Product Management

As the Director of Software Technical Product Management for Illumina's BioInsight Platform Core, you will define the product strategy and roadmap for the foundational software that connects instruments, manages data, and enables analysis workflows. You will lead a team of product managers, partnering closely with engineering and other stakeholders to ensure the platform meets enterprise and regulated customer expectations for reliability, performance, and security.

• Own end-to-end product vision, roadmap, and requirements for core platform capabilities
• Lead and mentor a team of software technical product managers
• Partner with engineering on architecture, reliability, performance, and security
• Define success metrics for platform adoption and operational excellence
• Ensure platform meets enterprise and regulated customer needs
• Drive customer and field discovery to identify and prioritize product friction
