Technical Project Manager

Leidos is seeking a Technical Project Manager in San Diego, CA to lead R&D efforts in underwater vehicle systems for defense and national security missions. This role involves overseeing acceptance, testing, and certification of unmanned maritime vehicles, bridging R&D and production teams, and managing lab environments. The position requires a Secret clearance and onsite work at NIWC Pacific.

• Manage acceptance, testing, and certification of unmanned maritime vehicles
• Bridge the gap between R&D and production teams
• Oversee laboratory/shop environment and direct technicians
• Ensure vehicles meet rigorous government testing requirements
• Coordinate with NIWC vehicle SMEs and industry partners
• Maintain Master Production Schedule and system baselines
