Senior Controls Engineer - HMI

ON.energy is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to design and implement SCADA interfaces for their AI-focused power infrastructure. This role involves owning the visual design, layout, and functional behavior of operator-facing screens, ensuring they are intuitive and actionable. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with Ignition and its Perspective module, a strong understanding of information design, and the ability to translate operator needs into production-ready interfaces.

• Own end-to-end design of Ignition Perspective screens
• Design clear and consistent layouts for system overviews, dashboards, and alarm views
• Develop and maintain a unified component library and visual standards
• Define functional behavior and interaction flows for operator interfaces
• Gather requirements from field operators and translate them into polished screens
• Conduct usability reviews and improve screens based on feedback and data
