Sr. Social Media Manager

Monotype is seeking a strategic Digital & Social Media lead to enhance our corporate brand awareness, reputation, and engagement across social channels and online communities. This role will shape how Monotype appears in AI-powered search and answer engines, leading global social media strategy and execution while supporting corporate announcements and thought leadership. The ideal candidate combines social media expertise with exceptional writing skills and a deep understanding of how to leverage AI tools for content optimization and audience engagement.

• Develop and execute global social media strategy across platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and X
• Build authentic presence in online communities such as Reddit
• Own the global social editorial calendar and gather input from cross-functional teams
• Create, edit, publish, and optimize social content, including executive thought leadership and product stories
• Monitor social conversations, industry trends, and sentiment related to branding, typography, and AI
• Utilize generative AI and other AI-powered tools to improve content development and workflow efficiency
