Social Media & Content Specialist

Best Friends Animal Society is seeking a temporary Social Media & Content Specialist to capture compelling stories of adoptable pets in Los Angeles. You will be responsible for shooting, editing, and posting engaging photo and video content across social media platforms, while also supporting influencer and media relations. This role requires a creative individual who can translate raw footage into on-brand, authentic content that resonates with diverse audiences.

• Capture and edit photo and video content at adoption centers, events, and partner locations
• Create engaging, on-brand social media content for Instagram and Facebook
• Monitor social media trends and analyze content performance
• Support influencer and media relations, potentially appearing on camera
• Moderate comments and engage with the online community
• Collaborate with marketing, programs, and national social media teams
