Geological Engineer-in-Training (Hybrid)

Barr is seeking a geological engineer for their Calgary office to support tailings, mine waste management, and mine closure projects. This hybrid role involves field support, engineering analysis, and design for clients in the mining and oil sands industries, focusing on remediation and reclamation of contaminated sites.

• Apply engineering and science principles for field support, analysis, and designs
• Coordinate field activities, logistics, and contractor oversight
• Evaluate site conditions and identify solutions to environmental challenges
• Produce clear technical documentation and status updates
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients
