Journeyman Electrician

Dallas College is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join their Facilities Management Department. This role involves performing skilled craftwork in the electrical trade, including maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and installation of electrical systems across multiple campus facilities. The position requires adherence to electrical codes, safety regulations, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Maintain, repair, test, troubleshoot, install, and connect power supply
• Knowledge of local electrical codes and best practices
• Work at heights and confined spaces per OSHA regulations
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues
• Read and install electrical components from prints
• Estimate time and material costs on electrical projects
