Copywriter & Communications Specialist

The Oklahoma Department of Commerce is seeking a Copywriter & Communications Specialist to lead their internal and external communications efforts. This full-time role involves crafting persuasive copy for various print and digital materials, developing content strategies, and collaborating with internal teams to promote Oklahoma's economic advantages and state programs.

• Lead storytelling and copywriting for agency programs and partner organizations
• Develop strategic messaging for B2B campaigns, newsletters, and digital platforms
• Proactively identify story gaps and propose new content concepts
• Write and edit marketing collateral, website copy, and articles
• Collaborate with internal design, technology, and multimedia staff
• Analyze content performance data and refine messaging
