LPN II/CMA - Cardiovascular Institute - Cardiology

Southeast Health is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) or certified medical assistant (CMA) for their Cardiovascular Institute. This role involves providing direct patient care in the Medical/Surgical Unit, contributing to patient assessments, and participating in care planning and evaluation. The position requires adherence to hospital policies and nursing standards.

• Perform nursing care activities for Medical/Surgical patients
• Contribute to nursing assessment and care planning
• Participate in the implementation and evaluation of patient care
• Adhere to hospital policies and Alabama Board of Nursing standards
• Requires current LPN license and two years of hospital LPN experience
• Basic Cardiac Life Support and EKG interpretation skills required
