Communications & Brand Programs Director

Backblaze is seeking a Communications & Brand Programs Director to lead the operational execution and amplification of content and PR initiatives. This role will manage social media, PR agency efforts, and editorial calendars, ensuring consistent distribution and reporting across channels. The position also involves building relationships within the AI ecosystem and serving as a senior advisor on external positioning.

• Manage social content calendar and develop native social content
• Drive PR agency execution and coordinate executive participation
• Own Brand, Executive, and Corporate content lane
• Serve as hub for brand campaign packaging and amplification
• Increase Backblaze's visibility and credibility in the AI ecosystem
• Lead PR agency strategy and secure earned media placements
