Director, Content Marketing

Cogent Security is seeking a founding Director, Content and Community to build and own our content engine. You will translate complex AI and cybersecurity insights into compelling narratives that drive pipeline and establish our editorial point of view. This is a builder's role where you'll orchestrate AI, contractors, and a small team to produce high-impact content across multiple channels, while also writing key pieces yourself.

• Own content strategy, calendar, and series across social, blog, video, and long-form
• Drive SEO and AEO to ensure content discoverability
• Tie content directly to pipeline and track performance
• Write top- and middle-of-funnel content including blog posts, ebooks, and whitepapers
• Ghostwrite for executives, capturing their unique voice and perspective
• Leverage AI and contractors to scale content production efficiently
