AI Machine Learning Scientist

Elevance Health is seeking an AI Machine Learning Scientist to develop and operationalize AI and machine learning solutions, including Generative AI and LLMs. This role involves designing, building, and evaluating AI systems, ensuring they are reliable, compliant, and aligned with Responsible AI principles. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business challenges into production-ready AI solutions.

• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML and Generative AI solutions
• Build and maintain infrastructure, pipelines, and services for AI-driven applications
• Develop reusable AI capabilities including RAG pipelines and agentic workflows
• Implement evaluation frameworks and automated testing strategies
• Establish monitoring, observability, and governance processes for AI systems
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate AI capabilities
