About this role

FICO is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to build and operate the AI engine for a root cause analysis platform. This role involves designing and managing vector databases, embedding pipelines, and RAG retrieval layers to automate incident notification for enterprise customers.

What we are looking for

Design and operate pgvector schema and indexing strategy
Build and maintain embedding pipelines for operational documents
Develop RAG retrieval layer for incident-time context
Own the full ingestion lifecycle including runbook imports and backfill
Design and iterate prompts for root cause analysis with Claude
Define and maintain RCA output schema with Pydantic validation
