Associate Data Scientist

The Hartford is seeking an Associate Data Scientist to join their Applied AI and Analytics Claims department. You will develop and implement machine learning and AI solutions to optimize operational efficiency and enhance customer experience within the Workers Compensation & Employee Benefits Claims Data Science Team. This role involves the full model lifecycle, from design to deployment, using modern technologies and Agile frameworks.

• Develop statistical models, algorithms, and machine learning techniques
• Partner with business and technical teams to understand strategies and design solutions
• Identify and assess new data sources and analytical techniques
• Participate in the creation and deployment of long-term business evolution tools
• Contribute to the successful implementation of strategies
• Utilize Python, SQL, and cloud-native environments
