AI Engineer

Join ICF's Digital Modernization Division as an AI Engineer to accelerate the modernization of a federal agency's data and analytics ecosystem. You will develop and operationalize AI, machine learning, and generative AI capabilities, building reusable solutions and MLOps pipelines on a cloud-based platform. This role involves collaborating across teams to ensure AI solutions are trusted, governed, and production-ready.

• Develops NLP, text analytics, prompt orchestration, and human-in-the-loop workflows
• Translates unstructured data use cases into repeatable technical patterns
• Ensures generative AI capabilities are safe, useful, and governed
• Applies NLP, LLM/GenAI patterns, and Azure AI services
• Collaborates with product, engineering, security, and governance stakeholders
• Documents work products, decisions, and risks for traceability
