Undergrad Intern – Machine Learning Engineer – Amgen’s Technology & Medical Organizations (Summer 2027)

Amgen is seeking an Undergrad Intern for Machine Learning Engineering to assist in designing, developing, and testing data pipelines. You will collaborate with data engineers and scientists to clean and analyze data, support model training and deployment, and explore pharmaceutical datasets for insights.

• Assist in design, development, and testing of scalable data pipelines
• Clean, prepare, and analyze structured and unstructured data
• Support development and automation of model training, evaluation, and deployment pipelines
• Explore and analyze pharmaceutical commercial datasets for data-driven insights
• Learn and apply statistical techniques including hypothesis testing, regression, and classification
• Collaborate on implementing and monitoring ML models in production environments
