Senior Software Engineer I, Machine Learning, ML Enablement

Join Etsy as a Senior Software Engineer on the Machine Learning Enablement team. You will architect and operate the core infrastructure for training, hosting, and serving machine learning models, including large language models. This role is critical in enabling Applied Scientists and Engineers to deploy models efficiently and reliably at scale.

• Build and operate ML training and serving infrastructure on GCP and Kubernetes
• Architect systems for fast, reliable, and scalable model serving
• Design and maintain serving infrastructure for open-source and hosted LLMs
• Partner with Applied Scientists to translate needs into effective infrastructure
• Contribute to system design for high-availability infrastructure serving millions
• Write production-grade Python code and participate in architectural decisions
