General Motors is seeking a Senior AI/ML Performance Engineer to join their Autonomous Vehicle Infrastructure team. This role focuses on optimizing large-scale ML infrastructure, managing cloud budgets, and ensuring the scalability and cost-efficiency of ML training and inference environments for autonomous vehicle development.

- Develop strategic infrastructure for AV models and GPU systems
- Optimize ML workloads to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
- Collaborate with AI/ML Research, Infrastructure Engineering, and Cloud Vendors
- Ensure scalability and reliability of large-scale ML training and inference environments
- Expert-level Python coding skills and PyTorch ecosystem experience
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
