Senior AI/ML Software Engineer

RBC is seeking a Lead AI/ML Software Engineer to drive innovation in financial services. You will own and deliver end-to-end projects, from design to production, focusing on both software development and machine learning tasks. This role involves building scalable backend components and ML models, applying MLOps practices, and working within an agile team.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend components and ML models
• Apply software engineering and ML best practices to architect robust systems
• Proficiency in Java/Python and large language model architectures
• Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems and agentic systems
• Expertise in MLOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines for ML systems
• Collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
