Applied Scientist

Mistral AI is looking for Applied Scientists to drive innovative AI research and collaborate with clients on complex projects. You will develop state-of-the-art models across various modalities, apply novel methods to diverse use cases, and deliver high-impact AI solutions. This role involves working with large-scale GPU clusters, curating data, developing tools, and managing client research communications.

• Develop SOTA models across text, image, and speech modalities
• Run pre-training, post-training, and deployment on large GPU clusters
• Generate and curate data for model training and evaluation
• Develop tools and frameworks for data generation, training, and deployment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on agents and RAG pipelines
• Manage research projects and client communications
