Tech Lead Applied Scientist

Lead the design and implementation of critical Safety AI initiatives, focusing on real-time perception systems for millions of edge devices. This senior individual contributor role involves architecting computer vision pipelines, driving the technical roadmap for edge and cloud perception, and optimizing models for constrained hardware. You will collaborate closely with hardware teams and mentor other scientists and engineers.

• Architect end-to-end computer vision pipelines for real-world safety detection
• Drive technical roadmap for edge and cloud perception, optimizing models for constrained hardware
• Partner with hardware and firmware teams to co-design the full stack
• Work with petabyte-scale multimodal data to train and iterate on production models
• Mentor and technically guide senior scientists and engineers
• Translate customer and business needs into solvable engineering challenges
