Machine Learning Scientist, Reinforcement Learning

Profluent is seeking a Machine Learning Scientist specializing in reinforcement learning to advance protein design. This role involves developing novel algorithms, adapting techniques from other domains, and optimizing infrastructure for generative models. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to shape the future of AI-driven biomolecular design.

• Design and develop state-of-the-art reinforcement learning algorithms for protein design
• Adapt and improve reinforcement learning techniques from other domains
• Architect, implement, and optimize core infrastructure for protein language models
• Curate datasets and design tasks for rigorous evaluation of generative models
• Collaborate with computational and experimental scientists in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary team
• PhD or equivalent industry experience in a relevant quantitative field
