Machine Learning Research Engineer

Profluent is seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to build and optimize generative models and ML systems for protein design. You will deploy large-scale models, develop supporting infrastructure, and contribute to the evolution of the ML platform. This role offers significant ownership and the opportunity to shape the future of AI-driven protein design.

• Build robust pipelines for model fine-tuning, alignment, and evaluation
• Design and implement modular, multi-model protein design pipelines
• Develop scalable ETL pipelines for petabyte-scale protein data
• Optimize model training and inference code for scale
• Develop software and infrastructure for ML team efficiency
• Partner with scientists to prototype and productionize research ideas
