Sr. Software Engineer, Marketplace ML Platform

Waymo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Marketplace ML Platform team. You will implement and scale the core economic engine for Waymo's ride-hailing services, developing infrastructure for ML models used in real-time pricing, matching, and positioning. This role involves working with Python, C++, and Java to build backend platforms and deploy sophisticated optimization and prediction models.

• Implement and scale core economic engine for ride-hailing services
• Develop infrastructure for ML models in pricing, matching, and positioning
• Automate ML model lifecycle: feature engineering, training, inference
• Build next-generation simulation systems for virtual experiments
