AI Engineer

Proofpoint is seeking an AI Engineer to design and build production-grade agentic AI systems for cybersecurity. You will develop autonomous agents for threat detection and response, working with security researchers and product teams to create robust, automated capabilities. This role focuses on architecting multi-agent systems, optimizing for reliability and cost, and solving complex security problems.

• Design, build, and deploy autonomous AI agents and multi-agent systems
• Develop orchestration frameworks for LLM-based agents
• Implement RAG pipelines and vector stores
• Optimize agent performance for latency, accuracy, and cost
• Partner with security researchers to automate workflows
• Experience with Python and LLM APIs
