About this role
Cresta is seeking a Lead Engineer to build the next generation of AI-powered voice systems for contact centers. You will work on improving how AI listens, understands, reasons, and responds in live customer conversations by developing and enhancing machine learning systems for voice experiences. This role is for someone passionate about both model quality and production reality, focusing on evaluation, failure analysis, and scaling systems.
What we are looking for
6- Design, train, evaluate, and deploy ML systems for real-time voice experiences
- Improve voice AI quality through error analysis and iterative model enhancement
- Build evaluation frameworks for complex voice and agentic systems
- Diagnose and mitigate failure modes across the voice stack
- Design and optimize low-latency ML systems for caller experience
- Mentor engineers and contribute to technical strategy for voice AI
