Applied AI Research Scientist

CIBC is seeking an Applied AI Research Scientist to join their Advanced Analytics and AI team in Toronto. This role involves applying AI, machine learning, and generative AI models to solve real-world problems, collaborating with academia, and contributing to the research life cycle from concept to production. The position requires strong coding skills, deep learning expertise, and a track record of impactful research.

• Develop and improve AI and Generative AI models
• Apply advanced research in deep learning and NLP
• Integrate state-of-the-art tools and methods
• Collaborate with AI Scientists, Engineers, and Product leaders
• Partner with Academia and represent CIBC in the research community
• Contribute to foundation models, multi-agent AI, and responsible AI
