(USA) Staff, Data Scientist

As a Staff Data Scientist on the Walmart Marketplace team, you will build and deploy scalable, end-to-end machine learning solutions that enhance the experience for third-party sellers and customers. You will own the MLOps lifecycle, applying SRE principles to ML workloads, and lead code quality and architectural guidance for the team.

• Own the MLOps lifecycle, including model monitoring and lifecycle management
• Develop and maintain scalable MLOps infrastructure and Kafka pipelines
• Apply SRE principles to ML workloads, optimizing cloud deployments and performance
• Lead code quality, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior MLEs
• Provide architectural guidance and break down complex tasks
• Build continuous, distributed, and scalable training and inference pipelines
