Physician Scientist, Cardiometabolic Genetics

Regeneron is seeking a Physician Scientist to join their Cardiometabolic Therapeutic Area Genetics team. This role involves using large-scale human exome sequencing to discover and validate new therapeutic targets for obesity and related metabolic diseases. You will generate research questions, design and execute studies, interpret results, and collaborate with internal teams to accelerate therapeutic development through genetic and epidemiological insights.

• Use massive-scale human exome sequencing to discover and validate therapeutic targets
• Generate research questions, design and execute studies, and interpret results
• Leverage RGC and Regeneron datasets, external resources, and literature
• Support target nomination and validation using human genetics capabilities
• Partner with Clinical Development to evaluate programs and inform human genetics studies
• Participate in the intellectual life of the Cardiometabolic TAG, RGC, and Regeneron
