Senior Software Engineer, ML Enablement

Join Etsy as a Senior Software Engineer, ML Enablement, to architect and build the core infrastructure powering our machine learning models, from training to serving. You will design and operate scalable, reliable systems for millions of inferences per second, enabling Applied Scientists to confidently deploy and iterate on everything from classic ML to large language models.

• Architect and build scalable ML training and serving infrastructure on GCP and Kubernetes
• Design and maintain serving infrastructure for open-source and hosted LLMs
• Write production-grade Python code and contribute to architectural decisions
• Partner with Applied Scientists to translate ML needs into robust infrastructure
• Apply ML fundamentals and awareness of LLM serving to infrastructure design
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and observability for systems serving millions of users
