Senior Software Engineer, Machine Learning Infrastructure - Generative AI

Join DoorDash's GenAI Platform team to build and lead the design of production infrastructure for Generative AI. You will focus on open-weights model platforms for inference and fine-tuning, setting technical direction for GPU serving, batch inference, and autoscaling. This role is for a senior engineer passionate about optimizing cost and performance in a rapidly evolving AI landscape.

• Lead design of GenAI infrastructure from prototype to production
• Own and evolve open-weights serving stack including LLM Gateway
• Architect scalable systems for model serving and GPU autoscaling
• Push cost and latency frontiers for GPU inference
• Build platforms for rapid experimentation and production standards
• Partner with ML engineers, product engineers, and data scientists
