Data Scientist

Maxar is seeking a Data Scientist to develop statistical and machine learning models for their FALCON effort, detecting kinematic behaviors using live and historical data. This remote role within the US involves collaborating with engineers and stakeholders to build data pipelines and transform complex data into actionable insights for mission partners.

• Design and enhance analytic solutions
• Integrate data from multiple sources
• Select and implement statistical analyses and scoring metrics
• Perform feature engineering, classifier optimization, and anomaly detection
• Interface with external stakeholders to define data science needs
• Implement industry machine learning algorithms
