Director, Software Engineering- Machine Learning (Individual Contributor)

As a Director, Software Engineering - Machine Learning, you will be a senior individual contributor leading the technical direction for production AI applications, including LLM systems and knowledge graphs. You will own the end-to-end architecture, set engineering standards, and write code to build scalable tools for investment professionals. This role offers the opportunity to influence technical strategy and drive innovation in a regulated environment.

• Lead technical design and development of production LLM, retrieval, and knowledge-graph systems
• Own end-to-end architecture for ML applications, including data pipelines and model serving
• Set and drive adoption of AI engineering standards, MLOps, and code quality
• Collaborate directly with investment professionals to define problems and shape product roadmaps
• Mentor engineers and raise technical bar through design and code reviews
• Evaluate new AI technologies and make build-vs-buy recommendations
