Research Scientist - Artificial Intelligence

GE Vernova Advanced Research is seeking a Research Scientist to develop and apply innovative AI and machine learning technologies for the energy sector. This role involves fundamental research, prototyping, and collaboration with internal business units and external partners to drive advancements in power generation, renewable energy, and grid technologies.

• Design, develop, and apply AI technologies including ML, deep learning, and generative AI
• Tackle complex challenges in power generation, renewable energy, electric grids, robotics, and manufacturing
• Collaborate with GE Vernova businesses and external academic/government partners
• Publish research in scientific journals and conferences
• Create intellectual property through invention disclosures and patents
• Requires PhD or MS with 2+ years of experience in AI/ML and Python proficiency
