Machine Learning Engineer

The 35th Intelligence Squadron is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to develop and deploy advanced AI systems for the Department of Defense. This role involves creating anomaly detection algorithms using machine learning to identify and isolate malicious threats, augmenting cyber threat analysts with data processing and intelligence reporting.

• Design and deploy high-performance ML models with 1TB+ daily ingestion
• Lead the ML lifecycle including data preparation, development, evaluation, and retraining
• Develop and implement state-of-the-art algorithms like GNN and BiLSTM
• Optimize model performance through feature engineering and hyperparameter tuning
• Mentor junior software developers and provide technical guidance
• Build explainability into products to support defensible intelligence reports
