Senior Data Scientist

As a Senior Data Scientist at Caterpillar, you will be instrumental in advancing our analytics capabilities, particularly within the Earthmoving Division's Finance organization. You will collaborate with internal customers and cross-functional teams to translate complex business challenges into data-driven solutions and build impactful data products. This role offers the opportunity to mentor junior team members and shape the future of data analytics across the Construction Industries segment.

• Transform business questions into technical requirements for data products
• Assess data gaps and recommend new data products and automations
• Lead and mentor junior data scientists
• Develop reports and dashboards using Power BI
• Utilize SQL, Python, and cloud data services for analysis
• Collaborate with business partners and senior leaders
