AI Scientist

U.S. Bank is seeking a Principal AI Research Scientist to advance its AI strategy from research to enterprise deployment. This role involves evaluating emerging AI technologies, prototyping novel solutions, and leading their evolution into scalable capabilities, spanning the entire R&D lifecycle.

• Evaluate emerging AI technologies, focusing on generative AI, LLMs, and agentic AI
• Apply advanced AI techniques to financial services business problems
• Prototype and develop AI solutions across the full lifecycle
• Lead development of solutions leveraging foundation models and generative AI
• Partner with teams to transition prototypes into production environments
• Provide technical leadership and drive architectural decisions for AI solutions
