Forward Deployed Research Engineer

As a Forward Deployed Research Engineer, you will tackle complex technical challenges for AI labs and internal teams, focusing on reinforcement learning environments and training data. You will own the full lifecycle of technical deployment requests, transforming urgent needs into reusable tools and processes. This role requires a blend of independent problem-solving, rapid delivery, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced AI/ML startup environment.

• Diagnose and resolve ambiguous technical problems in AI/ML deployments
• Own technical deployment requests from triage to completion
• Build tools and pipelines to address urgent customer and partner needs
• Coordinate with research and go-to-market teams to unblock deployments
• Experience with reinforcement learning benchmarks and evaluations
• Proficiency in Python, Docker, Linux, and debugging across complex environments
