Entry-Level – AI/Machine Learning Researcher

General Motors R&D is seeking a recent or soon-to-be-completed PhD graduate to conduct original research in AI/Machine Learning. You will develop practical methods to accelerate GM's research and product development, working on cutting-edge areas like causal reasoning and generative AI. This role offers the opportunity to translate theoretical concepts into real-world impact within a collaborative research environment.

• Conduct original research in advanced AI/ML areas
• Develop and evaluate proof-of-concepts using real-world data
• Translate engineering challenges into research questions
• Collaborate with senior researchers and engineering partners
• Communicate findings through reports, presentations, and publications
• PhD in CS, AI, ML, Math, Stats, or related field
