AI Research and Development Engineer

Join ASML as an AI Research and Development Engineer to innovate at the intersection of AI and semiconductor inspection. You will own the end-to-end development lifecycle for Large Language Models (LLMs) and Vision-Language Models (VLMs), from data preparation to deployment. This research-focused role offers the opportunity to translate cutting-edge AI concepts into practical solutions for complex engineering challenges, with a strong preference for experience in Agentic AI systems.

• End-to-end LLM/VLM development: data prep, training, evaluation, deployment
• Design and execute model adaptation strategies (SFT, PEFT, etc.)
• Build and maintain high-quality training and evaluation datasets
• Develop Agentic AI solutions with planning, memory, and orchestration
• Apply advanced AI/ML/DL techniques to semiconductor inspection
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify research opportunities
