Data selection and quality evaluation for biological foundation models

Inceptive is seeking a Data Scientist to pioneer AI-designed drugs by training large-scale foundation models. You will collaborate with biologists and ML researchers to design, analyze, and improve experiments, ensuring high-quality biological data for model training. This role involves developing computational approaches to characterize assay quality, identify data artifacts, and translate biological insights into scalable data generation strategies.

• Design and analyze large-scale biological experiments for ML training data
• Develop computational approaches to characterize assay quality and experimental variation
• Identify and investigate sources of bias and measurement artifacts in biological datasets
• Partner with experimental scientists to improve assay design and data collection
• Collaborate with ML researchers on experimental design impact
• PhD in a quantitative discipline or equivalent experience
