Senior Data Scientist

Leidos is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead advanced AI development for a defense contract, focusing on characterizing hardened facilities and WMD processes for simulations. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to create physics-based models and deliver innovative data science and AI solutions within classified environments. This role involves leading complex analytics efforts across the full solution lifecycle, from problem definition to deployment and maintenance.

• Serve as senior technical contributor and analytic lead on national security programs
• Partner with government customers and SMEs to define mission problems
• Translate operational challenges into data science requirements and solution designs
• Design, develop, and deploy advanced analytics, statistical models, and machine learning solutions
• Architect and deploy advanced ML models fusing engineering data with physics
• Communicate analytic findings to senior stakeholders and bridge gaps between technical teams
