Director, Prediction and ML Planning

Motional is seeking a Director of Behaviors to lead their machine learning-based Prediction and Planning teams. This role involves setting the technical roadmap for next-generation behavior stacks and pioneering state-of-the-art end-to-end models for joint prediction and planning. You will also be responsible for scaling and nurturing a world-class AI organization.

• Lead machine learning-based Prediction and Motion Planning teams
• Establish technical roadmap for unified Large Driving Model
• Drive development of imitation and reinforcement learning approaches
• Guide exploration of Vision-Language-Action models
• Lead, mentor, and scale multiple ML engineering and research sub-teams
• Partner with Perception, Infrastructure, and Systems Engineering
