Lead Research Engineer, Data Quality

Lead the data quality strategy and systems for an early-stage AI infrastructure company focused on reinforcement learning. You will own the measurement and improvement of training data quality, shaping research culture and mentoring engineers to ensure agent data is genuinely useful.

• Lead data quality team in building systems to evaluate thousands of tasks across RL environments
• Define data quality strategy by building QC systems, enforcing standards, and designing experiments
• Develop new methods for validating synthetic data at scale
• Partner with research engineers, domain experts, and data vendors to diagnose quality issues
• Turn qualitative research insights into production systems like internal tools and dashboards
• Mentor research engineers to maintain high technical rigor and execution speed
