About this role

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer on the AI Model Serving team, you will be a technical leader shaping the future of our AI platform. You will design, implement, and scale large-scale systems that power both traditional ML models and cutting-edge large language models, impacting how Workday serves AI at scale. This role offers the opportunity to drive critical design decisions, optimize performance and reliability, and contribute to an ambitious roadmap focused on scaling architecture and hosting open-weight LLMs.

What we are looking for

Technical leadership in critical design decisions for AI model serving platform
Design, implement, and maintain large-scale distributed systems for ML model deployment
Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes and GPU infrastructure for LLM hosting
Proficiency in Python for production-level code and system building
Familiarity with both LLMs and traditional ML models in production environments
Experience with observability, monitoring, and debugging production issues
